What is exercise (Vyayama)? Activities that bring about tiredness to the body are called Vyayama (Exercise). Why should you exercise daily? 1. Exercises enhance the strength of the body, 2. Improves the digestive fire, 3. Improves overall body nourishment, la stre & body musculature, 4. Removes laziness, 5. Bring about tolerance towards tiredness, thirst, hot or cold weather, 6. Cure Obesity 7. Improve body stability 8. Brings lightness on the body 9. Keeps diseases at bay How much should you exercise? • Sweating, increased respiration rate, lightness in the body & increased heart rates are the features of proper exercise. • Maximum exercise can be done in the cold season until one’s half’s strength.
