Take milk, spinach (palak), amarnath (cholayi), carrot, gooseberry (Amla), paneer, arrow root (paniphal or singhada), etc. 2.  Two figs (anjeer) dipped overnight and taken in the morning for a few days help to cure asthma. 3. Fenugreek (methi) and carom seeds (ajwain) boiled in water filtered and decoction mixed with honey taken thrice a day regularly cure asthma. 4. In one Betel leaf (Pan) put 5 basil (tulsi) leaves, one clove, and a pinch of camphor, (karpoor), and fold it. Eat this every day to cure asthma. 5. Dry dates (chuara) and dates (khajur) both give strength to the lungs which is beneficial for curing asthma.

  Drink warm water instead of refrigerated water. For cooking purposes use sesame or mustard oil with spices like turmeric, black pepper, ginger, and rock salt. Use vegetables with astringent, bitter, and pungent tastes. Fasting one to two days a week or partial fasting & drinking fruit juices, warm water & honey will be helpful. Avoid eating substances prepared with refined wheat flour like white bread, cakes, and pastries, and abstain from dairy products and sweets prepared with milk & sugar. Avoid cold drinks, alcohol & deep fried foods, or a non-vegetarian diet. Avoid taking too much rest, sleeping during the day (particularly after meals), applying oil to the skin, and bathing with cold water. Weight reduction can be achieved by reducing energy intake or by increasing output, or by a combination of the two.

Ayurvedic Remedies to Treat Acne

Clean your skin thoroughly and apply egg with a cotton swab. Let it stay for several hours or overnight. Egg white acts as an astringent. To treat the affected area, make an infusion of Tulsi (Basil) leaves. Put 2 to 4 teaspoons of dried basil leaves in a cup of boiling water, keep for 10 minutes, cool & apply. Place turmeric powder or tulsi leaves in a bowl of water (boiled). Cover your hair with a towel. Create a mini-steam bath for your face. Make sure to wash your face immediately afterward as dirt and oil can be removed more easily from open pores. Kumkumadi Lepan applied on the face after washing can give good results. Sarivadiasava, taken 15-30 ml with an equal quantity of water twice daily acts as a blood purifier & controls acne. Apply an ice cube wherever you spot redness. It reduces inflammation & helps the skin heal.
